The corolla of the plant is absent, the calyx is colored in various colors, and prominent stamens are collected in dense capitate spike inflorescences in the form of sausages. It blooms in the second half of summer, at the end of flowering it wilts. The fruit is small, dry, enclosed in a hardening receptacle.

Hemophilia - types and places of growth

In the range of the genus hemorrhagic, almost all temperate regions in the Northern Hemisphere are covered. These are the countries of Central Asia, the Far East, Europe, as well as Siberia and Kazakhstan. The plant prefers meadows and clearings, grassy steppes throughout Russia. This is a very light and stable culture, perfectly withstands the open sun and partial shade on various fertile moist soils, winter-hardy and practically not subject to diseases and pests.

In total, there are 12 species of this plant, many of which are planted in gardens for decorative purposes due to the original colors and shapes of flowers. In addition to medicinal species, the most common glandular hemophilus (it is pubescent with reddish fluffs). Plant hunters celebrate Tanna varieties with bright red inflorescences and Pink Tanna with pink flowers.

Hemophilus - healing properties

Rhizomes of hemoptysis have a bactericidal, antimicrobial, astringent and hemostatic effect. Especially shown is the treatment of hemoptysis in dysentery and typhoid. Wounds can be healed with the help of a hemoptysis in dentistry, stomatitis and gingivitis can serve as an indication for this. Diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (ulcerative colitis), gynecological such as inflammation of the appendages, uterine bleeding, hemorrhagic metropathy, uterine fibromyoma or the post-abortion period can also be alleviated by the hemostatic and healing properties of this plant.

Hemophilia - dosage forms

For medical purposes, plant rhizomes and roots are harvested. The collection of raw materials must be carried out when the plant bears fruit, that is, in September-October. Dig and wash the root and dry it in a sun-cut form in small pieces or in a special oven, without using iron baking sheets or wire racks, as the raw materials may become black and unusable.

The structure of the roots and rhizomes of the hemorrhage includes 15% of tannins, up to 4% of saponins, as well as a certain content of sanguisorbine, loss, starch, calcium oxalate, volatile, ascorbic acid and essential oil. The root is stored up to 5 years. Grass is used to make bath infusions.

Hemorrhage bath infusion is made in large volumes. To do this, 1 kilogram of grass is boiled in a bucket and insisted. Hemophilia is used in the treatment of eczema, dermatitis, neurodermatitis for 20 minutes in the form of heat.

The tincture of the root of the hemorrhage is prepared with the addition of 40% vodka or alcohol. 20 grams of roots are poured into 200 ml of vodka and insist in a dark place. Drink a spoon 5 times a day for lung diseases, manifested by bleeding.

No specific contraindications have been identified. Use caution in pregnant women in any form. At large uncontrolled doses, bowel irritation may occur.
