Pita bread is the basis of many simple treats; quick pies and complex, multi-layer pies are prepared from it. Dishes can even be sweet, but still the main filling of such treats is meat. In our selection of various pies, cakes in which lavash acts.

Lavash meat pies with minced meat - general principles of preparation

For the preparation of quick pies from pita bread, both round and rectangular layers are suitable. It is important that they are fresh, or rather, not dried out. When purchasing pita bread, be sure to pay attention to the integrity of the package, the presence of even a small hole can lead to drying of the product.

Several types of meat pies can be prepared from pita bread: closed, puff, in the form of a roll or a snail. Almost all the pies are baked in a round form, and the roll cake is cooked on a baking sheet.

Stuffing for the filling can be prepared with your own hands or use the purchased semi-finished product. For juiciness, sautéed or raw vegetables are added to the meat mass, and to diversify the taste - mushrooms, potatoes, tomatoes.

Almost all pita pies are poured with specially prepared sauces or well lubricated with them. In the formation of puff pies, the inner layers of pita are abundantly impregnated or dipped in such fillings.

Lavash meat pies are baked in the oven, which is preheated to 180-190 degrees. Baking time can take from a quarter of an hour to 30 minutes, it depends on the filling and the type of cake.

Lavash meat pie with minced meat - "Snail"

Ingredients

pork and beef (pulp) - 250 grams of each species;

two thin pita bread;

large onion head.

To fill:

two fresh eggs;

a glass of medium sour cream.

Cooking method:

Having washed the pulp, remove the film from it. Cutting into pieces, twist in a meat grinder.

Peeled onion, grind, like meat, or rub through a coarse grater.

Combine the meat mass with onion gruel. Slightly adding salt, season with pepper and knead thoroughly.

Having deployed pita bread on the table, we apply a thin layer of minced meat and turn it in succession with dense rolls.

The bottom and walls are round in shape, with a brush, moisturize with vegetable oil. Turn on the oven for heating.

We spread the rolls in the prepared form, spinning them in the form of a snail.

In a small bowl we release the eggs. Beating lightly, add sour cream and add plenty of salt.

Water the pita bread laid in the form and immediately place it in a hot oven. Bake the cake for an hour.

Without letting go of the mold, grease the surface of the hot cake with butter and leave it to cool slightly. After that, carefully remove and serve, cutting into pieces.

Quick meat pita pie with minced meat

Ingredients:

large egg;

one and a half glasses of kefir;

fresh dill;

large onion;

one small carrot;

400 gr. pulp, or chicken breast;

thin sheets of Armenian lavash - 4 pcs.;

refined oil - 30 ml;

200 grams of cheese.

Cooking method:

Rinse the peeled vegetables with water and dry well. Three carrots through a coarse grater, and dissolve the onion in small slices.

After removing all the films from the meat, rinse with water. After drying the pulp with a towel, cut into small pieces.

Pour oil into a thick-walled pan, put onions with carrots in it. Stew vegetables over a medium heat for ten minutes under a lid.

Add pieces of meat to vegetables, sauté, stirring occasionally.

We spread the meat fried with vegetables in a bowl. Cool slightly, grind with a meat grinder.

Add the finely chopped dill and pepper to the cooled meat mass. We rub grated cheese here too. After adding salt, stir the minced meat until smooth.

We rub the walls and bottom of a small rectangular or round shape with vegetable oil and immediately turn on the oven to heat up.

We line the shape with a sheet of pita bread so that it not only finds on the sides, but also hangs outward a little. Lay out part of the meat filling on pita bread.

Pour kefir into a wide bowl. Carefully breaking the shell, release the egg to it and mix thoroughly.

The remaining pita bread is torn by hands into large pieces. Alternately, we lower them into kefir, after which we gently crush and in this form (without straightening) we lay out the stuffing.

On top of the crumpled pieces of pita bread, lay out the remaining meat and cover it with a whole sheet of pita bread. We wrap on it the edges of the lower sheet hanging from the sides.

Pour the remaining kefir mixture onto the cake and evenly distribute it on the surface, spread thinly sliced ​​butter on top.

We place the form in the oven that has warmed up by this time and bake the cake for a quarter of an hour.

"Snail" - lavash meat pie with minced meat, tomatoes and cheese in a sour cream filling

Ingredients:

two thin sheets of pita bread;

a glass of low percentage sour cream;

two heads of salad onions;

150 gr. fresh tomatoes;

eggs, fresh - 2 pcs.;

220 grams of hard cheese;

a pound of minced meat;

a quarter cup of oil;

a spoon of "Provencal herbs".

Cooking method:

After rinsing under the tap, we dip the tomatoes in boiling water for a couple of minutes, and then return them to cold water to cool. Having cut from the side of the stalk, gently pull off the peel from the tomatoes.

Finely and finely chop the onion. Cut the tomato pulp into medium-sized slices.

In a slightly warmed oil in a pan, dip the onions and fry the slices until transparent. After adding the minced meat, mix well and continue cooking, kneading large lumps of meat with a fork.

As soon as the meat changes color and turns brown, add the tomatoes. Without covering the pan, simmer the minced meat with vegetables over low heat for seven minutes. In the end, well add salt, mix spices and dried dill. Cool the prepared meat filling.

Put sour cream in a small deep bowl. After salting, we release the eggs and mix thoroughly.

Grind the cheese on a coarse grater into a separate bowl. Add a third of the chips to the sour cream filling and mix it well.

Rub the form with softened butter or sunflower oil. We turn on the oven so that by the right moment the temperature rises to 180 degrees.

On a table or a large cutting board, lay out a sheet of pita bread and evenly apply the filling. Put the grated cheese into the minced meat.

Having rolled up a dense roll, we shift stuffed pita bread into a shape, wrapping it with a snail. If the shape is rectangular, it is more convenient to first cut the roll into pieces of the required length, and then firmly, in one row, spread them along the bottom of the tank.

Pour the lavash pie evenly with sour cream sauce and place it for half an hour in an oven well warmed up by this time.

Lavash meat pie with layers of minced meat in sour cream sauce

Ingredients:

thin pita bread - three sheets;

300 gr lean minced meat;

onion head;

small carrot;

hard, "Russian" cheese - 200 gr.;

300 grams of fresh champignons;

eggs, chicken - three pieces;

a glass of sour cream;

spices "A mixture of fragrant peppers";

vegetable oil - 40 ml.

Cooking method:

Chop the onion into small cubes, cut the mushrooms into thin strips, and rub the carrots with a medium or large grater.

Put the minced meat in a bowl, pepper it, and, slightly salting, carefully stir.

In a small saucepan, heat the vegetable oil. Put the onions in it, fry over medium heat until a pleasant blush. Add carrots to the onion and continue to warm up to five minutes.

We spread mushrooms in a saucepan for vegetables, cover with a lid. Stew the filling on low heat, stirring occasionally, for up to five minutes.

We send minced meat to the stewpan. After standing at low heat for five minutes, carefully break all the lumps with the teeth of a fork and simmer until the meat is ready. Put the finished filling in a wide bowl.

While the mass is cooling, grind the cheese through a coarse grater. Beat eggs with sour cream and add salt to the sauce well.

Lubricate the round shape with lean butter and cover it with a sheet of pita bread so that the high sides come out.

We spread the third part of the cooled filling on pita bread, lightly sprinkle it with cheese chips and pour three tablespoons of sour cream sauce.

From the pita bread we cut a circle according to the size of the form, moisten the trimmings in sour cream sauce and spread it out evenly on the filling. In the same way, we form another row, do not sprinkle the top layer of minced meat with cheese.

On the last row of the filling we put a dry round billet of pita bread and carefully bend under it the edges of the lower layer remaining from the sides.

Pour the cake with the remaining sauce, sprinkle the surface with the remnants of cheese chips and place the mold for half an hour in a preheated oven.

Quick recipe for puff pastry meat pie with minced meat and potatoes

Ingredients:

two thin pita bread;

a pound of minced meat;

two large onion heads;

five small potatoes;

two tablespoons of mayonnaise;

one egg.

Cooking method:

Rinse the peeled potatoes with water. Dice the tubers, as is usually done for soup. Bay cool water, put on an intense fire. After boiling, boil the potatoes for no more than ten minutes, after which we put them on a colander.

Having laid the minced meat in a bowl, rub the onion to it with a coarse grater. After adding boiled potatoes, season the filling with pepper, slightly add and mix thoroughly.

We cover the inside with a 20-centimeter round shape with oil. We put one of the sheets of pita bread in it so that it completely covers the bottom and sides.

From the remainder of the first pita bread and from the second sheet, we cut out four circles of the same size bottom and begin to form a pie.

We spread on the lavash laid in the form of the filling and cover it with one of the round billets. Next, again lay out a little filling and cover it with pita. In this way we form the whole pie. It is also advisable to put the scraps into action, the last should be a whole workpiece, under which tuck the pita hanging from the sides.

Beat the egg with three tablespoons of mayonnaise. Salt and slightly pepper, pour the prepared filling onto the cake and spread it with a spoon.

We give the cake to stand for ten minutes, then put it in a preheated oven and bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes.

A simple recipe for pita meat pie with minced meat and zucchini in the form of a roll

Ingredients:

two round thin pita bread;

350 grams of homemade minced meat;

one large onion;

200 gr. zucchini;

a spoonful of mayonnaise;

garlic;

egg;

three tablespoons of sour cream;

a spoonful of vegetable oil;

a bunch of dill;

50 grams of hard cheese.

Cooking method:

We peel the onion, thinly cut the peel from the zucchini. Rub the zucchini flesh and onion in a bowl.

We spread the mince to the vegetables and release the egg here, crush two cloves of garlic with a press. Add some favorite spices or ground pepper and mayonnaise. After adding chopped dill, add and mix thoroughly.

We cover a large baking sheet with a sheet of foil and rub it thickly with oil.

We spread one of the pita bread on the table, evenly apply part of the meat filling on it. We turn the pita bread into a roll and gently transfer to a baking sheet. In the same way we prepare the second workpiece, lay it on a baking sheet, close to the previous one.

Lubricate the surface with sour cream, whipped with a small amount of salt and place the roasting pan for 20 minutes in the oven.

After the allotted time, we take out a baking tray with pies and sprinkle them abundantly with grated cheese. We return the roasting pan to the oven and bake, making sure that the melted cheese is covered with a golden brown.

Lavash meat pies with minced meat - cooking tricks and useful tips

Use only fresh pita bread for pies. Even slightly dried formations will erupt when twisted or laid.

The surface of the lavash pie will not bubble if, after pouring or lubricating, let the future pie stand for ten minutes so that the lavash absorbs moisture well.
